Former CFO of Rinchem Company, Inc. will oversee accounting, human resources and legal teams
SHREVEPORT, La. (July 11, 2023) – AFS Logistics announces Rob Walker as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Walker brings 25 years of experience to the 3PL company, including seven years as CFO of Rinchem, a leader in chemical warehousing, transportation and freight forwarding, as well as finance leadership roles with Gap, Inc.

Walker will serve as an advisor to the CEO and the founder and chairman, as well as an operationally focused financial leader with responsibility over all direct and indirect financial activities. Based on the company’s demonstrated competence at leveraging data to maximize opportunities for customers, he anticipates significant growth opportunity not only through the acquisition of new customers, but also by reaching current customers with expanded offerings.

Walker earned his master’s from the University of New Mexico and his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Iowa State University. He has also held finance and accounting positions with Ranchers Bank, the New Mexico Mortgage Finance Authority and Sun Healthcare Group, Inc.
