Stat’s Incredible: FedEx’s Additional DAS Changes

It wasn’t exactly a regift. But the extra DAS charges (and hundreds of new ZIP codes) that FedEx recently decided to add to its 2022 General Rate Increase did seem remarkably reminiscent to another company’s GRI news that we received last month. What’s next? A label maker?

Number of new ZIP codes that have been added

Additional cents per package that will be charged (the same increase announced by UPS) for deliveries to DAS ZIP codes

Percent more that FedEx customers will be paying to ship to these ZIP codes (the same percentage increase announced by UPS)

Date in January that these changes go into effect

ATTENTION

AFS is directing carriers and customers to direct all inbound invoices to [email protected] or via established electronic submission, such as EDI or eSubmit to avoid processing delays due to the impacts of the COVID-19 countermeasures and service interruptions at the United States Postal Service.

Carriers should contact Carrier Support via email at [email protected] in lieu of calls. We have added additional resources and later hours to assist you and email will serve as the method for fastest response. Please send an aging report with your inquiry so that we may provide you the most current status.

Thank you!
