The pollen count’s not the only thing that’s higher this month.

On April 11, UPS rolled out an increased fuel surcharge that’s remarkably similar to the one that FedEx just activated on April 4.

The new version of UPS’s surcharge tacks an extra 1.75% onto UPS’s domestic Ground and Express fuel surcharges – and applies to parcel base transportation rates as well as major accessorial charges such as Residential Surcharge, Large Package Surcharges, and Peak Surcharges.

For more details about how this will affect your overall parcel spend, check out the table below.  In addition, don’t miss some of our other related features on our blog.

ATTENTION

AFS is directing carriers and customers to direct all inbound invoices to [email protected] or via established electronic submission, such as EDI or eSubmit to avoid processing delays due to the impacts of the COVID-19 countermeasures and service interruptions at the United States Postal Service.

Carriers should contact Carrier Support via email at [email protected] in lieu of calls. We have added additional resources and later hours to assist you and email will serve as the method for fastest response. Please send an aging report with your inquiry so that we may provide you the most current status.

Thank you!
