Stat’s Incredible: A Look At FedEx’s 2021 Peak Season Rates

When we say “boo,” we’re not trying to be scary, even though it is close to Halloween. We’re just registering our opinion about the latest holiday season Peak charges announced by a major parcel carrier – this time from FedEx.     

% more that you’ll be paying for FedEx Ground Economy than you did last holiday season

Additional % you’ll be paying for Large/Oversize U.S. Express, U.S. Ground and International Ground services as of October 4

% more you’ll be paying for Additional Handling than you did last holiday season

Number of days that FedEx charged Peak Surcharges in 2021

Amount of weekly shipments that will trigger FedEx’s Residential surcharge on or after January 17 – 5,000 less than last year’s amount of 30,000

% more your company will be paying for the post Peak Residential surcharge than you did last year

Potential impact (in terms of percentage) on your total annual spend
